Ella to Galle Fort

We took a local bus from Ella to Galle.

The Galle Fort was built first in 1588 by the Portuguse then extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century. It is a historical monument, which even after more than 432 years maintains a great appearance with many boutique hotels, restaurants and jewellery shops in the narrow streets.
