Palma, Mallorca - Housesit
So excited to have scored a week in Palma at a housesit with 2 Beagles (Banuwa and Barnaby), a white cat called Cobweb and the hamster Joey. Such an easy sit it was too. Animals only needing minimal walking early and late as it was so hot, so we had time to explore in the meantime.
We had a brilliant day catching up with some friends, Carmen and Chris, who had recently moved to the island from Barcelona. First stop, Valdemosa, a gorgeous village in the hills and then onto a fabulous typical spanish lunch near the botanical gardens. A quick stop in Puerto Soller then meant the day was over and we headed back to walk the dogs on their evening stroll.
Further exploring in the old town of Palma, a ride up to Castillo Bellver and over to Cala Mayor as well as a fabulous catch up evening with friends Jane and Antoine from Toulouse, who just happened to be on holiday on the island at the same time, just rounded off a brilliant housesit week in Palma.
